英國男妓人數倍增 竟因女性網上「買春」
一項研究發現，英國女性生活忙碌，導致無暇戀愛，進而上網尋求「買春」的人數大增加，讓男妓5年內增長5倍 。
5月22日援引英國《鏡報》的報導稱，藍開斯特大學(Lancaster University)的金斯頓博士(Dr Sarah Kingston)與曼徹斯特都市大學(Manchester Metropolitan University)的哈蒙德博士(Dr Natalie Hammond)共同研究堪稱英國史上最深入探討買春議題的調查發現， 近5年英國女性買春人數大幅提升，主因是生活太過忙碌，無暇戀愛。
研究顯示，特別是30至40歲的女性，因為生活工作忙碌，加上網路便利性，讓這些職業女性進而通過網路、手機買春，這讓英國男妓人數年年創新高 ，從2010年的5246人暴增至2015年的15732人，增長5倍之多;而女性工作者則從11056人提升至28614人，增長僅2.5倍。

另外調查還發現，買春的女性為了捍衛「自由」，多數不願意與男妓有更深入發展;當然也有不少婦女偏愛在性交易前，和男妓一同享用晚餐，感受「男朋友體驗」。
