Nio marks another milestone in its EV production – 50,000 EV’s made within 2 years and 2 months. Nio is producing an average of 56 EV cars per day now.

Per 7/18/2020 report from Autohome.com, China’s most widely read automobile information portal, NIO EV delivery number once again broke the record. On July 2, NIO announced the latest monthly delivery reached a total of 3740 vehicles in June, a year-over-year increase of 179%. This represents a record high after delivering a record-breaking 3436 vehicles in May.

Since March, NIO has achieved production increases for four the consecutive months. At the same time, NIO delivered a total of 10,331 vehicles in the second quarter, achieving 10,000th mark in one single-season for the first time.

It is worth mentioning that NIO is now ranked first in the assembly ranking of high-power EDS electric drive systems (150kW and above) in the Chinese market.

NIO is scheduled to start the delivery of its latest Model EC6 to its customers in September.

NIO has repeatedly indicated that they’re to turn profit by the end of the second quarter in 2020, and achieving the two digit percentage gains in gross profit margin by the year end of 2020.
